I love taking photos of my kids.  When the holidays approach I’m already thinking about our Christmas Cards.  It’s one of the lovely traditions you do while waiting for Christmas to come.  Since we’ve had children, our Christmas cards have become much more personal now that we send photo cards.  I love them because we send out cards to all of our relatives — which is quite a few.  Many of our relatives don’t use Facebook or live quite far away and our Christmas photo card (and letter) is one of the few ways we reconnect.

It’s already December 11th, and I still have to finish G’s Christmas dress and C’s Christmas tie — so it looks like it will be a “Happy Holidays” card instead of a “Merry Christmas” card, seeing as how it will probably not arrive to our friends and family until after Christmas.  No matter.  It’s still the holidays.  People tend to forget the card didn’t arrive on time when there’s a great picture of your kids (or your pet or you) all dressed up for the holidays.

Shutterfly always has great designs to choose from.  Here are some of my favorites this year.  (They seem to have a lot of red and brown – which are the colors of G’s and C’s Christmas clothes this year…to be finished soon!)

Holiday Love Sketch
Snowflake Dazzle
Traditional Damask Red
Holiday Script Christmas
Snow Flurries Scarlet
Holiday Berries

So many choices….. Must go finish their Christmas clothes and snap those photos.  Are you sending photo cards this year??
