Last week I posted about a crocheted sampler bag that I made to help me re-learn how to crochet. Well, it all led to this.

The most adorable crocheted sloth.

Seriously.

How cute is this?

It took me a while to make but it was so worth it. This adorable little addition to our family of stuffed animals was named Chocolate by my daughter. She squealed with delight when I showed it to her.

We found this tutorial on Creativebug. It was designed by Twinkie Chan and she is so good at going through the steps in the video (even for a semi-newbie crocheter like me). My daughter already has plans for me to make her the unicorn – also designed by Twinkie Chan.

I love the tiny claws!

And as you can see, I had way too much fun photographing it – I mean Chocolate.

And don’t you just love him lounging in my yarn bowl!
