Jess over at Craftiness is Not Optional had a sew-along last week for the Rachel wrap. I finally had a minute to take a few pictures this morning.
I used a simple mini cherry/polka dot print (in cotton) I had sitting around. It came from Jo-Ann’s last year – I think. For the bias tape, I used some pre-made brown tape I had left over from another project.
I didn’t put the pleats in the sleeves simply because the t-shirt I used to make my pattern had really skinny sleeves and I didn’t think about the pleats when I cut my fabric. Perhaps the next one will have pleats.
Of course every photo shoot isn’t complete without little baby.
Thanks Jess for a great sew-along and cute wrap!
This is so very cute! Thanks for sharing and she is VERY cut in cherries!
I love it, she looks adorable! Thanks for sewing along. 😀
What a cute looking shirt! One of the first things that I ever made was a similar style wrap shirt for a baby – now why haven’t I made one since?
