I loved these bike buckets over at Noodlehead as soon as I saw them. They are too cute and the perfect thing for my kids bikes. I had intended to make this a little earlier, but you know how it goes. The pieces were sitting on my table and I finally got to them. The weather here is nice and cool, perfect for biking!
The handlebars on the tricycle were shaped a little differently than the bike, so I made two straps and moved them apart just a bit so it would fit.
The fabric is David Walker’s Hopscotch line and Boys will be Boys line. As a side note: I am currently crazy about David Walker fabrics. Perhaps it has something to due with the fact that after I published this post as part of the Ice Cream Dress Social, I received an email from David Walter himself! He said he loved how I used his fabric and hoped my daughter liked the dress. How cool is that?? I was beaming for days!
Anyway . . . . .
My son is constantly stopping to pick up rocks, sticks and flowers on our rides and now he has the perfect place to put them.
For my daughter, it’s all about the dolls. Now they’ll have a great view for the ride (instead of stuffed inside mommy’s purse).
The buckets are great!!!
love them!!! love the fabrics. That is SO COOL you got an email from David Walker, holy CR@P!
