For Christmas I wanted to make my 16-month-old nephew an owl pillow/softie. I’ve seen so many out there that are so cute. Yesterday I saw this post by Make It and Love It. Well, I made it this morning and I’m loving it!
I chose green for the owl, per my husbands suggestion and it’s sooo CUTE! It is made entirely out of fleece. The yellow is actually furry fleece – great for the wings. Believe it or not, all of this came out of my fleece remnants I’ve been holding onto. When Connor came home from school today he got really excited when he saw it. (His favorite color is green.) Perhaps there’s one in his future too.
How did you figure out the middle strip? It’s the only pattern piece I can’t figure out.

Take a look at my instructions for sewing the bottom of this bag.

That should help you with the corners at the ears.
Awwwwww, I LOVE how it turned out! And you whipped that out so fast. Beautiful. And i love the colors. Thanks for sharing!
