First of all I want to say a big THANKS for all of your wonderful comments on my Insulated Tote Bag over at Sew Mama Sew — and all the comments here too! It’s really a great feeling to know that people like the stuff you design (and make). Even though I don’t have time to respond to them all, I read each and every one and they all bring smiles to my face.
This weekend, I took a little break from sewing and painted the kitchen and hallway in our house. It’s actually quite a large task. There are lots of tiny bits of wall to tape around and paint and the hallway has seven doorways. It took up a bit more of my weekend than I planned, but Gwyneth and Connor helped out too!
Connor helped paint a door for an access panel.
Gwyneth gave her “new” cradle a fresh coat of paint. It was mine as a kid, then my sisters, now it’s hers.
I see a new doll sized mattress, quilt and pillow in my sewing future.
I bet the kids thought this was a brilliant way to spend a weekend!
