Simple Recycle

| Apparel, For Kids, Tutorial

My son loves this shark t-shirt his grandparents brought back from Hawaii a couple years ago, but it’s now too small on him (and has a hole in the arm).

Instead of passing the shirt on to little sister, we decided to take the shark off and applique it onto a new shirt.

With a little sewing help (from Connor), we had a new shirt

and one very happy little boy.

My son, at age 11, has great memories associated with some of his t-shirts. Thanks for such a simple and great idea to recycle those he’s not willing to part with!
