Liberty Linen Dress

| Apparel, For Kids

Do you ever sew something for someone and totally wish it was yours?

Perhaps it has something to do with the liberty waistband, but  I really love this dress.

The pattern used is the Library Dress by Oliver + S. I always love any pattern I make from Oliver + S – so many beautiful details and they always fit together perfectly!

The turquoise fabric is a linen/cotton blend I found at JoAnn’s. The waistband is Liberty fabric. Gwyn came with and picked out the linen (I picked out the Liberty).

She loves her dress! I don’t know how many more years she’ll love dresses, but I will happily sew her more while she “lives” in them. 🙂
