It’s the end of a school year (almost – tomorrow is my kids last day this year) and I whipped up a couple small thank you gifts for their teachers which they delivered today.
For Gwyneth’s teacher, I made a diaper clutch. Mrs. C is expecting her first baby this July and I wanted to make something useful.
I chose the Heather Ross fabric because Mrs. C loves green, so I’ve been told.
I threw in a small package of diapers and small travel wipes along with instructions for care and what the diaper clutch is for.
Tutorial from Noodlehead. Find it here.
Connor’s teacher was a little harder to come up with something I could make. His teacher is a “he” and for some reason it always seems harder to sew for men. I went with a simple iPad cover.
The tutorial is from One Shabby Chick and you can find it here.
The fabric was a FQ from my stash and I have no idea what it was. I added lots of quilting lines to make the simple iPad case have interest and depth. The quilting lines were a scant 1/4″ apart and in opposite directions on the tab and body of the cover.
Thanks to all the hard working teachers out there!
